He had subsequent marketing roles at UK-based OEMs Cambridge Instruments, VSW and VG Semicon before joining Edwards 21 years ago. He has held various technical and marketing positions before beginning his current role 2 years ago. Mike has numerous published articles and patents to his name, co-chairs a SEMI standards committee, participates in the IRDS, is a UK PFC \u201cexpert\u201d on IPCC and has authored chapters on Vacuum and Environmental issues in the forthcoming Semiconductor Manufacturing Handbook.<strong><br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Mike\u57281982\u5e74\u65bc\u66fc\u5fb9\u65af\u7279\u5927\u5b78\u7372\u5f97\u4e86\u96fb\u6a5f\u5de5\u7a0b\u535a\u58eb\u5b78\u4f4d\u3002\u4ed6\u5728\u82f1\u570b\u98db\u5229\u6d66\u7684R+D\u5be6\u9a57\u5ba4\u958b\u59cb\u4e86\u4ed6\u7684\u8077\u696d\u751f\u6daf\uff0c\u96a8\u5f8c\u5230\u4e86\u4f4d\u65bc\u8377\u862dNijmegen\u7684\u5be6\u9a57\u5ba4\u505a\u6709\u95dc\u534a\u5c0e\u9ad4\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u5de5\u4f5c\u300221\u5e74\u524d\u4ed6\u52a0\u5165Edwards\u516c\u53f8\u3002\u4e4b\u524d\uff0c\u4ed6\u66fe\u5728\u82f1\u570b\u7684\u4e00\u4e9bOEM\u516c\u53f8\u505a\u6709\u95dc\u884c\u92b7\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u5de5\u4f5c,\u5305\u62ec Cambridge\u5100\u5668,VSW\u4ee5\u53caVG\u534a\u5c0e\u9ad4\u516c\u53f8\u3002\u5728Edwards\u516c\u53f8,\u4ed6\u5169\u5e74\u524d\u958b\u59cb\u73fe\u5728\u7684\u8077\u4f4d,\u4e4b\u524d\u4ed6\u505a\u904e\u5f88\u591a\u6280\u8853\u53ca\u71df\u92b7\u7684\u8077\u4f4d\u3002\u4ed6\u767c\u8868\u5f88\u591a\u7684\u6587\u7ae0\u4ee5\u53ca\u5c08\u5229. \u4ed6\u64d4\u4efb\u4e00SEMI(\u570b\u969b\u534a\u5c0e\u9ad4\u8a2d\u5099\u66a8\u6750\u6599\u5354\u6703)\u6a19\u6e96\u59d4\u54e1\u6703\u7684\u5171\u540c\u4e3b\u5e2d\u3001\u4ed6\u4e5f\u52a0\u5165\u4e86IRDS\uff0c\u4ed6\u662f\u82f1\u570bIPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change\uff0c\u653f\u5e9c\u9593\u6c23\u5019\u8b8a\u5316\u5c08\u9580\u59d4\u54e1\u6703)\u6709\u95dcPFC\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u201d\u5c08\u5bb6\u201d\uff0c\u4ed6\u4e5f\u64b0\u5beb\u4e86\u5373\u5c07\u51fa\u7248\u7684\u201d\u534a\u5c0e\u9ad4\u88fd\u9020\u624b\u518a\u201d\u4e2d\u6709\u95dc\u771f\u7a7a\u4ee5\u53ca\u74b0\u5883\u8b70\u984c\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u7ae0\u7bc0\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-black-color\"><strong><span style=\"color:#0066cc\" class=\"tadv-color\">\u2663 \u8b1b\u984c &nbsp;Topics\uff1aRevision of IPCC Default PFC Emission Factors&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color:#cc5600\" class=\"tadv-color\">(\u542b\u4e2d\u6587\u89e3\u8aaa)&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><br>The IPCC (the United Nations\u2019 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) published standard default values for the emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in 2006 (2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipcc-nggip.iges.or.jp\/public\/2006gl\/\">http:\/\/www.ipcc-nggip.iges.or.jp\/public\/2006gl\/<\/a>) for a comprehensive spectrum of sources, ranging from agricultural to industrial sectors. At the&nbsp; 26th Meeting of Task Force Bureau (TFB) (28 \u2013 29 August 2014, Ottawa) it was concluded that to maintain the scientific validity of the 2006 IPCC Guidelines, certain refinements may be required, taking into account scientific and other technical advances that have matured sufficiently since 2006. For instance wetlands emit more methane than previously assumed, and aluminium smelting may emit PFC gases during times between anode events. With this in mind, a task force (Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas Inventories, TFI) has been established to review all available data with a view to publishing a new document in 2019.<br>The new report will be an update to the 2006 document \u2013 and specifically NOT a fundamentally new document \u2013 and only where significant new data has come to light will changes be made. A scoping meeting was held in Wollongong in April 2016 and Table of Contents follow-up in Minsk in August, with nominations for authors made by the end of 2016. 2017 is the year of data collection, 2018 is report writing, and 2019 is UN approval (IPCC49) and publication.Four areas are being considered: Unidentified sources of perfluorocarbons (PFCs), Emissions from soils, Land representation and Emissions from flooded land. Of particular interest to the semiconductor industry will be consideration of the differences between the 2006 IPCC emission factors and the more recent EPA factors and other potential PFC emission sources, such as the manufacture of the PFC gases themselves. I will consider potential impacts for the Taiwanese Semiconductor Industry.<br><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2006\u5e74\uff0cIPCC\u516c\u5e03\u4e86\u6eab\u5ba4\u6c23\u9ad4(GHGs)\u7684\u6392\u653e\u6a19\u6e96. (http:\/\/www.ipcc-nggip.iges.or.jp\/public\/2006gl\/)\uff0c\u9019\u500b\u6a19\u6e96\u6392\u653e\u542b\u84cb\u591a\u6578\u7684\u9818\u57df\uff0c\u5f9e\u5efa\u7bc9\u696d\u5230\u5de5\u696d\u65b9\u9762\u90fd\u5305\u542b\u4e86\u3002\u5728\u7b2c26\u5c46\u7684Meeting of Task Force Bureau(TFB)(2014\u5e748\u670828-29\u65e5\uff0c\u6e25\u592a\u83ef)&nbsp;\u4e2d\u63d0\u5230\uff0c\u70ba\u4e86\u4fdd\u63012006\u5e74IPCC\u6307\u6a19\u7684\u79d1\u5b78\u6709\u6548\u6027\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u8003\u91cf\u5230\u81ea2006\u5e74\u4f86\u79d1\u6280\u4ee5\u53ca\u6280\u8853\u7684\u9032\u6b65\uff0c\u4e00\u4e9b\u6539\u9032\u662f\u5fc5\u8981\u7684\u3002\u8209\u4f8b\u4f86\u8aaa\uff0c\u6fd5\u5730\u6bd4\u539f\u5148\u5047\u8a2d\u6392\u653e\u7684\u66f4\u591a\u7532\u70f7\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5728\u51b6\u934a\u92c1\u6642\u7684\u967d\u6975\u4e8b\u4ef6\u53ef\u80fd\u6703\u6392\u653ePFC\u6c23\u9ad4\u3002\u8003\u616e\u5230\u9019\u4e00\u9ede\uff0c\u5c08\u6848\u7d44(Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas Inventories, TFI)\u5df2\u7d93\u5be9\u67e5\u4e86\u6240\u6709\u73fe\u6709\u6578\u64da\uff0c\u4ee5\u671f\u57282019\u5e74\u51fa\u7248\u4e00\u4efd\u65b0\u6587\u4ef6\u3002<\/strong><br><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; \u65b0\u7684\u6587\u4ef6\u5c07\u6703\u662f2006\u5e74\u6587\u4ef6\u7684\u5347\u7d1a\u7248,&nbsp;\u4e0d\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u65b0\u7684\u6587\u4ef6,\u53ea\u4fee\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u65b0\u6578\u64da\u30022016\u5e744\u6708\u5728Australia\u4e4bWollongong\u5e02\u8209\u884c\u4e86\u7bc4\u570d\u754c\u5b9a\u6703\u8b70\uff0c8\u6708\u5728\u8607\u4fc4\u7684\u660e\u65af\u514b\u8a0e\u8ad6\u76ee\u9304\uff0c\u4e26\u57282016\u5e74\u5e74\u5e95\u63d0\u4ea4\u4e86\u4f5c\u8005\u63d0\u540d\u3002\u201dIPCC&nbsp;\u6eab\u5ba4\u6c23\u9ad4(GHGs)\u6392\u653e\u6a19\u6e96\u201d\u51fa\u7248\u671f\u7a0b\u5982\u4e0b:2017\u5e74\u662f\u6578\u64da\u6536\u96c6\u5e74\uff0c2018\u5e74\u662f\u5831\u544a\u64b0\u5beb\u5e74\uff0c2019\u5e74\u662f\u806f\u5408\u570b\u6279\u51c6\uff08IPCC49\uff09\u548c\u51fa\u7248\u5e74\u3002<\/strong><br><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; \u6b64\u6b21\u6f14\u8b1b\u4e2d, \u6703\u8ac7\u5230\u56db\u500b\u9818\u57df:\u5c1a\u672a\u88ab\u8b58\u5225\u7684\u5168\u6c1f\u5316\u78b3\u6e90(PFCs)\u3001\u571f\u58e4\u7684PFC\u6392\u653e\u91cf(\u5177\u4ee3\u8868\u6027\u7684\u571f\u58e4\u4ee5\u53ca\u6c3e\u6feb\u5730\u7684\u7684\u571f\u58e4)\uff0c 2006\u5e74IPCC\u6392\u653e\u6a19\u6e96\u8207\u66f4\u65b0\u7684EPA\u6392\u653e\u6a19\u6e96\u4e4b\u5dee\u7570, \u548c\u5176\u5b83\u6f5b\u5728\u7684PFC\u6392\u653e\u6e90\u4e4b\uff0c\u50cf\u662fPFC\u6c23\u9ad4\u672c\u8eab\u7684\u88fd\u9020\u904e\u7a0b, \u9019\u4e9b\u7686\u70ba\u534a\u5c0e\u9ad4\u5de5\u696d\u7279\u5225\u611f\u8208\u8da3\u7684\u3002\u53f0\u7063\u534a\u5c0e\u9ad4\u7522\u696d\u4e4bPFC\u6f5b\u5728\u5f71\u97ff\u56e0\u5b50\u4ea6\u5c07\u8aaa\u660e\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u4e3b\u6301\u4eba Moderator\uff1a&nbsp;<\/strong>\u81fa\u5317\u79d1\u6280\u5927\u5b78 \u80e1\u77f3\u653f\u6559\u6388&nbsp; ( Prof. SC Hu , &nbsp; NTUT &nbsp;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u4e3b\u8fa6 Organizer\uff1a<\/strong><br>\u2022 \u81fa\u5317\u79d1\u6280\u5927\u5b78\u6f54\u6de8\u6280\u8853\u7814\u767c\u4e2d\u5fc3 (Center for Clean Technology Research.
